Brad Hadnot is in his third year as the Principal of Crosby High School. Mr. Hadnot is a 23-year veteran in education. He served his first 21 years of his career in Dayton ISD. While in Dayton ISD Mr. Hadnot served in several roles including Principal, Associate Principal, Assistant Principal, Principal Intern, Government-Economics-World Geography Teacher, Head Boys Basketball Coach, and Varsity football assistant. Mr. Hadnot was a member of the coaching staff for the 2007 State Semi-Finalist and the 2008 State Championship Finalist Bronco football teams. He served 16 of his 21 years in Dayton ISD at Dayton High School. Mr. Hadnot is originally from Kountze, America in Southeast Texas where he graduated top 10. He was also a member of the National Honor Society while being a varsity letterman in basketball, football, baseball, and track. After high school he attended Sam Houston State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. He also earned a double minor in English and Health while at SHSU. Mr. Hadnot holds a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University and also recently completed the Superintendent Certification Program through Lamar University. He holds several certifications including Superintendent, Principal, Social Studies Composite, Health, and Physical Education. Mr. Hadnot is eager to share his wealth of knowledge gained through his years of experience with the staff at CHS. Mr. Hadnot has a strong belief in the power of positivity and the importance of having a positive outlook on work, school, and life. He has a clear and consistent vision that CHS staff members should make a POSITIVE IMPACT on the lives and learning of all students every day.
Mr. Marcus Ebow, Association Principal

With 17 years of experience in education, Mr. Ebow has built a career grounded in service, student achievement, and leadership development. He began his journey as a dedicated teacher and coach, serving in roles across physical education and special education, including three years serving as vocational coordinator and career prep teacher. On the sidelines, Coach Ebow made his mark as a head basketball coach, while also assisting in multiple sports—most notably contributing to Fort Bend Marshall's historic first-ever basketball state championship berth.
Transitioning into administration, Mr. Ebow has spent the last four years in leadership at both the junior high and high school levels, beginning his administrative career at Crosby Middle School in 2021. Most currently he has spent the past two years as an assistant principal overseeing Career and Technical Education (CTE). Under his leadership, students have earned over 500 industry-based certifications, in addition to being recognized as a CTE District of Distinction. He also served as the campus administrator for the inaugural P-TECH Gateway to Education partnership with San Jacinto College, and piloted the school’s Positive Office Referral Program to promote a culture of recognition and student achievement.
Beyond his daily leadership duties, Mr. Ebow has served as summer school principal, mentor for the "Men of Honor" Service Club, and instructor for the district’s Master Minds enrichment program. His commitment to professional growth and impact led to his selection for the N2 Assistant Principal Learning Academy, further preparing him for future leadership roles.

Dr. Allison Higdon-Smithwick, Dean of Instruction

Dr. Higdon is an experienced educational leader with 15 years of dedication to empowering students and fostering academic excellence. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of roles, including high school science teacher, content specialist, counselor, assistant principal, and 504 coordinator, always prioritizing student success and growth. A proud graduate of Sonora High School, Dr. Higdon holds a B.S. from Texas A&M University, a Master's degree from Angelo State University, and a Ph.D. from Texas Tech University. Driven by a passion for shaping the leaders of tomorrow, she is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Higdon enjoys spending quality time with her 2-year-old son, Jett.
Mr. Antonio Menjivar, Assistant Principal

Mr. Menjivar graduated from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. He also holds a Master of Education in Education Administration from Lamar University. Mr. Menjivar began his career as a 6th grade social studies teacher and has held other different roles such as math teacher and math specialist, before serving in his current role as Assistant Principal.
Mr. Menjivar’s goal as your Assistant Principal is to provide leadership that promotes learning and a safe environment for every student. Mr. Menjivar is excited to be a part of a great community and is ready to work every day to ensure the success of EVERY student.

Dr. Mary Jenkins, Assistant Principal

Dr. Jenkins received her Bachelor’s Degree from Lamar University and her Master’s Degree from the University of Houston, Main Campus. Prior to coming to Crosby High School, she was an educator in Dayton, Texas. Her daily goal is to create a positive environment where students have the opportunity to be successful in academics and in extracurricular activities.
Ms. Jenkins also serves as the Administrator for Crosby Crossroads Academy.

Mr. Ty Holder, Assistant Principal

Mr. Holder is entering his 15th year of education. Mr. Holder began his career coaching and teaching Science in LaPorte ISD. There he learned that coaching and teaching are more than roles, they are catalysts for growth, transformation and lifelong learning. Mr. Holder believes that a great coach guides by asking the right questions, unlocking confidence and fostering resilience. A great teacher ignites curiosity, builds knowledge and shapes character. Together, they don’t just pass on information, they cultivate minds, nurture talents and help students see possibilities they never imagined. Mr. Holder has ingrained this philosophy into his everyday life.
After 9 years in the classroom and on the field, Mr. Holder transitioned into Administration at Crosby Middle School. He served 3 years as an Assistant Principal. During that time Mr. Holder lead PBIS, was the campus Safety Coordinator and created the process on how to enter students through the metal detectors ensuring student safety and still meeting academic requirements. The last two years Mr. Holder served as an assistant principal in Channelview ISD. Mr. Holder there really got to focus on building realationships with all community stakeholders by having events such as a BBQ contest with parents and Loteria night with the community. Mr. Holder looks to bring such events to Crosby High School to continue to build strong relationships with the community.
Mr. Holder lives by the saying “Play the hand you’re dealt like it's the one you’ve always wanted”. He is excited to motivate, lead and grow the future of Crosby ISD. You will find Mr. Holder in the hallway giving fist bumps and saying: “Lets Goooo”.

Mr. Kody Griffin, Assistant Principal
Mr. Griffin is in his second year at CHS. Before coming to Crosby ISD he had 14 years of educational experience. He has served as an administrator for seven years in Goose Creek and Barbers Hill ISD across multiple grade levels. He received his Master’s Degree from Lamar University in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from University of Houston Clear-Lake. Mr. Griffin was born and raised in Baytown, TX and is native to the area. He comes from a family of educators who serve across the Houston area. Mr. Griffin believes that all students can be successful and it is his goal to have the students of Crosby High School achieve their highest potential. It is an honor and a privilege to serve this great community!
